Each person that has EDS deals with it in their own way. We deal with EDS through our belief in God. Hope comes in many forms for different people. For some, they are able to find hope by waiting around for the next new medication to be approved by the FDA. Others search for hope by becoming so well-educated on their illness that the obsession can take over the rest of their life.
As believers of God, we know that our hope must start and end with God. EDS can beat you down with its trials, sorrows and debilitating worries. When it seems hopeless, our hope encourages us to go on. Romans 5:2-5 (KJV) By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope: And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.
We are able to find hope knowing that there truly is a purpose for us living with EDS, We are blessed to have found it, which gives us the ability to encourage thousands of others on their journey of living with EDS. Whatever you believe, you will have to find the place that gives you true hope, strength and peace living with EDS.

This Ehlers-Danlos Support group is for like minded Christians that wish to discuss the role their faith in Jesus Christ and prayer has helped them cope with the devastating effects of having EDS.
